The Report illustrates that former senior management at the Metropolitan Ambulance Service throughout this period April 1993 to March 1995 showed a total disregard for the Government’s outsourcing guidelines and normal tendering processes. Serious deficiencies in contract management between April 1993 and March 1995 were identified. A continual hands-off approach by the management of the Service showed a total disregard for the Government’s outsourcing guidelines.
