The objectives of this audit were to determine: if the broad thrust of the recommendations reported in our 1993 performance audit on Salinity had been adequately addressed; and whether the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Catchment Management Authorities, and the community, are adequately prepared to implement the State’s 2000 Salinity Management Framework.
