Overview
This is a performance audit coverage of the affairs of government in the State of Victoria for the 1990–91 financial year. The reviews included in this Report deal with questions of accountability, economy and efficiency in resource management by public sector organisations. The benefits arising from the government initiative by the Premier (to resolve issues raised by the Office of the Auditor-General and to enhance public sector administration and improve the long-term financial management of the State) are readily apparent from this Report which reflects a significant reduction in the number of previously unresolved issues.
